Senior Innovation & Change Manager, Homes, Ageing Better
Jemma is Senior Innovation & Change Manager at the Centre for Ageing Better. Her work focuses on supporting Ageing Better to bring about change by working closely with partners and people with lived experience to develop forward-thinking ideas which provide practical, scalable solutions. She previously worked at Family Mosaic, a large London based housing association where she was Head of Research and Policy. In this role Jemma led on the organisation’s research programme and was lead researcher on several major projects aimed at improving older tenants' health and wellbeing. She is also a trustee at Bridges Renewal Trust, a charity which aims to address health inequalities in South Tottenham.
Re: focus of the session.. Assisted living isn’t actually an area of focus for us at Ageing Better but we can speak much more widely to the opportunities and challenges for housing our ageing population. Would that still suit? When I previously spoke at a CPC event I covered this broader remit looking across existing and new homes. Included within that is a discussion of technology but it’s a bit broader than assisted living technologies specifically.
